This online course  prepares learners to interpret and apply the workmanship and material standards related to mandatory new home warranty coverage in Alberta - knowledge and skills that will help foster positive customer relationships by increasing your ability to effectively address and resolve customer concerns. Ideal candidates for taking this course are:   Inspectors, Technicians, On-site staff, Trades, Suppliers, Management, Designers, Drafts persons, Customer Service Representatives, Estimators, Construction Managers, Warranty Representatives and Technicians, Purchasing Agents, Sales Professionals and Management and individuals interested in starting a construction business. 

This course is required for the  following certifications:  Residential Construction Site Manager (RCSM) and is an elective course for Residential Management and Master Home Builder. 

Delivery method:

This is an online course only. It involves approximately three hours of online learning with no classroom time

Exam & passing grade:  The exam for this course is closed book. The passing grade is 70%. 

Prerequisites:  There are no prerequisites for this course.
