In 2018, Lori became President & CEO of the Alberta New Home Warranty Program Group of Companies, which includes the Professional Home Builders Institute (PHBI). Lori brings over two decades of executive leadership experience in industry transformation and emerging markets, including regulated and competitive businesses, spanning energy, utilities, telecom, health care, public, private, and not for profit sectors.
Director, Education & Business Development
Keith joined the PHBI in 2019 as the Director, Education & Business Development. Overseeing partnerships, education, and business development, Keith is results-driven and passionate about student and customer success to meet the training needs of Canada's residential construction industry. Keith has an extensive background in higher education and news media, including student recruitment, marketing and sales, partner and client relationship management, and product and business development.
Cheryl joined PHBI in 2019 as the Assistant Director, overseeing business planning and development, operations and team management. With over a decade of experience in higher education, Cheryl is highly skilled in administration, management and training, and is passionate about student success.
Project Manager, Education
Joining PHBI in 2014, Kavita leads the training and development team. With over two decades of experience in education technology, Kavita specializes in instructional design and learning science and is all about people, collaboration and taking on new challenges. Kavita is passionate about enhancing our student learning experiences using the latest technology to deliver training solutions for the residential construction industry.
Joining PHBI in 2021, Sarah brings a passion for instructional design and designing creative and engaging learning solutions that keep adult learning principles top of mind. With over 10 years of facilitation, program design, technical writing, editing, building instructor-led, hybrid, and e-learning training, Sarah leads curriculum development and innovative training solutions.
Andre joined PHBI in 2021 as an e-Learning developer. With over a decade of experience in developing and delivering corporate training, Andre specializes in instructional design and is focused on delivering high quality online experiences for PHBI students.
Ileana has over six years of experience in higher education, specifically in international student recruitment. Joining PHBI in 2019 as the Admissions Advisor, Ileana leads student recruitment and retention, acting as the first point of contact for our students and builder liaisons, advising on course content, delivery, availability, registration processes, and best fit to meet their training needs.
Student Services Coordinator
Tracy-Ann has over 9 years of experience in higher education, specifically working with students in their educational journey. Joining PHBI in 2020 as the Student Services Coordinator, Tracy-Ann provides instrumental and ongoing support to PHBI students. She coordinates various student programs and materials that support the Master Home Builder and Master Home Renovator certifications and supports the growth of PHBI alumni programs.
Mirjam van Immerzeel
With over a decade of experience in private and public sectors, Mirjam specializes in instructional design, course development and online delivery.
Ashley comes with a professional background in real estate, recruitment and has completed her education at SAIT in Legal Assistant Studies. Joining PHBI in 2020 as the Education Coordinator, she is focused on strategic course development and online delivery.
A recent graduate of SAIT’s Graphic Communications and Print Technology program, Austin is passionate about digital communications and information design. Joining PHBI in 2019 as the Digital Media and Assistant Graphic Designer, Austin supports the development of digital training programs and course materials.
Jessica has over 5 years of experience in airline and non-profit industries focusing on all things social media and customer service. Joining PHBI in 2021 as the Education Coordinator, Jessica will be acting as the first point of contact for all education delivery and development opportunities to ensure PHBI’s courses and programs are executed in accordance to the program’s requirements.
