Radon Mitigation
This comprehensive course is designed for professional homebuilding contractors in Canada who wish to develop and enhance their expertise in mitigating radon concentrations within residential buildings. Radon, a naturally occurring radioactive gas, poses a potential health risk when elevated concentrations are present indoors. As part of the responsibility to create safe living environments, contractors will learn to interpret radon test results and implement effective mitigation strategies, particularly in new home construction, but with additional strategies for existing developments.

This course examines the role played by customer service within the New Home Construction Industry and the role it plays in enhancing the warranty coverage provided to homeowners. It relates customer service fundamentals as an essential business tool and explains how its application can result in greater business success. Key customer service and warranty fundamentals are presented to create a cohesive strategy for customer service excellence. In doing so, the course further explores the important matter of creating a Customer Service Model and concludes with an examination of ten common warranty issues.

Learn how to interpret and apply the current BC Building Code with confidence. Along with a focus on Division B, Part 9, you'll explore related standards and relevant enactments relating to residential construction.
